Since FIDM merged with ASU, I've heard from students about how that move derailed their academic plans, fashion dreams. One had her program cancelled. Another couldn't graduate without transferring to ASU. And FIDM says more changes are on the way:

Gervase, 21, was completing her first year at FIDM, working toward her bachelor’s degree in digital media and cinema, when the unexpected ASU partnership was announced.

“It’s just so cruel,” Gervase said, who is considering filing a lawsuit against FIDM for misleading her. “This is money I could have gone to another school. ... I’m now way behind on my graduation date because of FIDM.” Though FIDM refunded her spring classes, she’s stuck in her apartment lease that she’d picked for its location near her school, limiting where she can apply to new four-year universities.
