Residents and workers have expressed their surprise after a raid was carried out at a business in Bulwell. Officers executed a warrant at an address in Cinder Hill Road at around 8.15am on Thursday morning as part of an investigation into an allegation of vehicle theft.
Anne-Marie Fitzwater, who owns Bella Nails and Beauty, said: "I came in at quarter past nine this morning and a police lady asked me about the exits. I then saw tactical police units drive past, I thought 'oh my God'."Another woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said she saw police when she arrived at work at 10am. "There's always something going off round here," she said.
"What's going off, I don't know. Police have been before but I've never been told what's going on. I was surprised to see so many down there."
