Annual Business in the Barn was held Aug. 14

BRUNSWICK, Ohio – To say this year’s Business at the Barn was a success would be an understatement as the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance’s annual event reached new heights.

On the big day, Aug. 16 there were nearly 90 vendors at decorated tables throughout the beautiful two-story barn at Mapleside Farms with 14 local restaurants and caterers bringing a taste of the area to the public. The participants represented many longtime businesses like Homestead Insurance, Diamond Event Center and Mack Industries, there many fairly recent arrivals to the area as well. Several service related agencies and government-based groups were in attendance and all provided information. Free bags given by several of the vendors made it a lot easier to hold all the goodies.

NMCCA’s Executive Director Debbie Boehmke could be seen literally running from place to place as guests began to arrive. The first two hours were open for invited guests, VIPs and networking. The doors opened to the public after that.
