U.S. stocks opened higher Friday as investors wait for Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to speak at the Jackson Hole Economic Policy Symposium in Wyoming this morning. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.68% rose 0.4% soon after the opening bell, while the S&P 500 SPX, +0.52% gained 0.4% and the Nasdaq Composite COMP, +0.58% increased 0.
