European stocks held steady Friday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index SXXP, -0.04% closed down 0.04% to 451.39.

Shares of health care/life sciences firm Idorsia Ltd. IDIA, -2.96% and technology company Sinch AB SINCH, -2.86% dropped 3.0% and 2.9%, respectively. Shares of technology firm Samhaellsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB Series B SBB.B, +2.87% and industrial goods company Billerud AB BILL, +2.02% increased 2.9% and 2.0%, respectively.
