A foundation set up by King Charles remains under investigation by charity regulator OSCR despite Met police dropping their probe.

Scottish charity watchdogs are vowing to investigate claims of financial irregularity at a foundation set up by King Charles.

Charities are required to publish information about related-party transactions to make sure any conflicts of interest are managed appropriately. News that OSCR is refusing to shelve its probe will be of concern to the palace, who will have hoped the Met announcement would have left Charles’s charities in the clear.

The charity’s annual accounts, published by Companies House, show the foundation declared the management contracts agreed with Brownlow’s firm, as well as donations received from him, but not his purchase of assets from one of its subsidiaries.
