The chains are among the first confirmed for the major development which is currently under construction

A drive-through Costa Coffee and a Greggs store are set to open at a huge new business park opening in Chorley.

The historic mill building is also to be redeveloped, with storage units and offices ensuring it still has a useful future. First, the business park plan will see new commercial space spanning hundreds of thousands of square feet fill the surrounding land.The plans are being carried out by FI Real Estate Management, an international firm which has used the mill as its headquarters for several years.

He said: "Bygone Times was doing great, it still is doing great. We thought we’d expand it to Botany Bay and if you looked at what was in my head at the time it was trying to establish a real retail consent so we could eventually go through a planning process. "I would call it like a trade warehouse where you’ve still got Costa Coffee, a Greggs shop. It’s got manufacturing as well which is great. It’s great doing employment but the biggest employment is where you’ve got people working in shops and manufacturing.”
