Monday's biggest moving stocks include Hostess Brands, Tesla, Canopy Growth and RTX.

Shares of Hostess Brands Inc. TWNK, +19.16% jumped 19% after Twinkies parent announced an agreement to be acquired by J.M. Smucker Co. SJM, -6.25% in a cash and stock deal valued at $5.6 billion.

Canopy Growth Corp. shares CGC, +37.28% ran up 41%, and have more than tripled in the past two weeks as part of a big, broad rally in the cannabis sector. A move by the Drug Enforcement Administration to review the Schedule I status of cannabis has fueled optimism in the sector. Walt Disney Co.’s stock DIS, +0.23% gained 2% and Charter Communications Inc. shares CHTR, +3.19% climbed 2.2%, after The Wall Street Journal reported the company’s reached an agreement that would end their carriage dispute.

Crinetics Pharmaceuticals Inc.’s stock CRNX, +68.05% rocketed 67% after the drugmaker announced positive results from a late-stage study of paltusotine, its investigational treatment for acromegaly.
