The popular service isn’t going anywhere, but it is changing its branding and bringing in BMW vehicles

With over 200,000 car2Go members in Vancouver, it’s clear that the city has embraced the car-share service in a way few others have. But now it’s time to let it go.

You’ll also begin to see BMWs available for rental, so now you can finally count yourself among the city’s bad BMW drivers, rather than just swerving to avoid them. “Vancouver continues to lead the way as the car-sharing capital of North America, but we have never been satisfied simply knowing that car sharing is accepted and understood here,” said Chris Iuvancigh, SHARE NOW’s Vancouver general manager. “We’ve worked tirelessly to refine our mobile app into the fastest, most reliable rental experience and to expand our offerings to include a variety of options like reservation extensions and business accounts.
