It is up to the individual to check with a participating pharmacy if the vaccine is covered by their insurance before receiving it. “All CVS Pharmacy locations are expected to have the vaccination in stock by early this week,” CVS spokesperson Matt Blanchette told NJ Advance Media. His commentsHe added that some people are having issues making appointments because “some payers are still updating their systems and may not yet be set up to cover the updated COVID-19 vaccines.”
