Offensively, the name of the game was efficiency. Watson hit on the sideline throws he missed on Monday night and the Browns never appeared on their heels, even after one of the wonkiest plays by Watson when he threw the ball backwards to Elijah Moore as he was being sacked, or when theWatson got more comfortable as the game rolled along and ended his day with an exclamation point, finding Cooper for 43 yards and a score he deserved with 6:51 left in the game.
It started with Garrett and the defense showing up to dominate. The Titans gained four yards in the opening quarter and 67 total in the first half. They finished the game with 94 total yards and Garrett had 3.5 sacks. The second half was about simply finishing, making sure the Titans didn’t find some secret formula to sneak back in the game -- and they didn’t. Not even close. The Browns needed this win and got it and now move to 2-1 for the fourth consecutive season under Kevin Stefanski. They have a vital game against the Ravens next Sunday at home.
