European stocks continue losing streak, fall for third session

European stocks fell Monday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index closed down 0.62% to 450.44. The German DAX dropped 0.98% to 15,405.49, the French CAC 40 index...

The German DAX DAX, -0.98% dropped 0.98% to 15,405.49, the French CAC 40 index PX1, -0.85% fell 0.85% to 7,123.88 and the FTSE 100 index UKX, -0.78% fell 0.78% to 7,623.99.

Shares of electric utilities firm NEL ASA NEL, -7.90% and leisure/arts/hospitality company TUI AG TUI, -6.18% fell 7.9% and 6.2%, respectively. Samhaellsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB Series B SBB.B, +18.30%, a technology company, saw the largest increase among Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, as shares jumped 18.3% on Monday.

Fastighets AB Balder Series B BALD.B, +2.47%, a real estate company, and basic materials/resources business Stora Enso Oyj R STERV, +2.18% rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks rose 2.5% and 2.2%, respectively.
