The latest report by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver said while more homes were listed for sale, there was below-average demand.

Home buyers appear to be the ones with power in the current market, according to the latest figures from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.

Residential sales last month totalled 1,484, a 32.8 per cent drop from the same month in 2018 , but a 34.5 increase from January 2019 . That said, February 2019 remained 42.5 per cent below the 10-year February sales average. “This means that home buyers face less competition today, have more selection to choose from and more time to make their decisions.”
