Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Alamos’ proven track record, expansion plans, and strong and continuous production mean that “our kids could potentially be working here,” according to Fernando Gaspar, Human Resources Superintendent at Young-Davidson, one of Alamos’ Northern Ontario mining operations.
“When we think of 8,000 tonnes per day, naturally people think that’s just the production group…but that’s not true. It takes everybody on site…it’s everybody that comes to site, it’s their achievement. And we try and make sure that our workforce understands that,” emphasized Garry Bennett, Underground Operations General Foreman, Young-Davidson.
According to an Alamos spokesperson, “People really are at the core of Alamos’ success. As the growth of Alamos Gold continues, we are looking for driven professionals who exhibit loyalty and a passion for the mining industry. We seek individuals who strive to make the most of their experience at Alamos Gold, while helping us build upon our existing and future successes.”
