United Airlines — The airline stock slumped more than 4% in extended trading after warning that heightened fuel costs and a halt in Tel Aviv flights amid the Israel-Hamas war would hit current-quarter profits. United Airlines said it expects adjusted earnings to range between $1.50 and $1.80 per share, versus the $2.06 per share expected by analysts polled by LSEG, formerly known as Refinitiv.

Revenue came in at $3.16 billion, shy of the $3.19 billion expected. Omnicom Group — The marketing company's shares slipped 2%, even as the company narrowly beat analysts' expectations in the latest quarterly report. Omnicom reported third-quarter earnings of $1.86 per share on revenue of $3.58 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet predicted earnings of $1.84 per share and revenue of $3.55 billion.
