The first homes within a historical Glasgow site have officially been handed over to customers.

The Glasgow Meat Market, which was established back in 1879, has seen the first trance of 251 homes handed over to customers recently.

“We are delighted with the design and quality of the homes and look forward to people enjoying them and setting down long-term roots here. Aldo Matteo, a Mid-Market resident at Meat Market, said: “I’m delighted with my new flat as it’s everything I had hoped for. Developed by the housing association and charity, Home in Scotland, the development plans were first approved back in 2019 and permission was unanimously approved by members of the City Council’s
