Asia-focused insurer AIA Group on Friday (Nov 3) posted a 34 per cent rise in the value of new business (VONB) for the third quarter, boosted by strong demand for its insurance products across operations including key markets like Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Mainland China, one of AIA's largest markets, logged a 20 per cent growth in VONB during the period as the insurer continued to benefit from the lifting of pandemic-related restrictions.
