Illuminate has been responsible for the much-loved laser shows seen across the Bay Area over the past few years. The rising cost of security associated with the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference in San Francisco almost kept the show from being realized. However, Illuminate chose to move forward and help fund the project independently. "Illuminate feels this project is too important for San Francisco not to do. So we are self funding the effort, and have set up a crowdfunding campaign," a member of the Illuminate SF team said.
