Zille booed, as Ramaphosa hands over title deeds Western Cape Premier Helen Zille has been booed at a ceremony at Vredendal on the West Coast where President Cyril Ramaphosa is handing over title deeds to fifty families.

Zille said she was aware that some of the people in attendance at the ceremony were en route to another ANC rally in Citrusdal which is expected to be addressed by President Ramaphosa.

The Western Cape premier said a government-funded function must cater for all people irrespective of political party affiliation. She was then booed by the crowd. President Cyril Ramaphosa is accompanied by the Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane.The beneficiaries are the direct descendants of the Griqua Community that established themselves on the farm Vanrhysdorp since 1926.

Vote ANC

Is SABC was not covering news on behalf of the ANC: ANC got a bunch of their members at a STATE event and their 'booed' Helen while not understanding what was happening or why she was there... An indication of how ANC wins elections without the need to use a single argument...

We expect people who support ANC to act like this. In fact we would worry if they reacted civilised. Shem

These people now own property given as a bribe to vote ANC.Unfortunately no jobs,no food and no money to pay their municipal bill. But 'think' not in a milion years!

ANC supporters don't understand what a state sponsored event is. Zille had a right to be there because it wasn't their rally.

A section of a rented crowd boos Zille.

helenzille what happened?

No houses handed over previously now it's elections and suddenly father Christmas arrives and hands over houses.

Who cares ANC only interested in gaining WC. WC does not have Toll roads it has good governance and less corruption. President only lies and he knows let themforget about DA and rott out e tolls fro GPWC people will vote for DA

Can SABC play video of Zuma being booed at Fnb please

Title deeds for what? RDP CyrilRamaphosa respect our people wena maan helenzille racists must run

Why did she do exactly what she accused the ANC of? Using an official State event to canvas votes by claiming they do not distinguish between party and State yet now she did exactly the same?

The irony is that if Zille and the DA-run Western Cape govt had not negotiated and assisted to make this happen, those people would still have been waiting ten years from now like everywhere else in SA!!!

helenzille

Probably paid by Rama margarine....
