Food lovers have the chance to win a free Deliveroo takeaway in a new giffgaff competition

Mobile phone network Giffgaff is giving people the chance to get free pizza via Deliveroo for one day only. Running today , Giffgaff is giving away 1,000 pizzas across the UK, as an apology for nationwide price hikes on mobile phone bills.

They will have the chance of get their hands on one of the 1,000 codes, each worth £17.65. The voucher which will be valid from March 15 until the end of April. It doesn’t matter what phone network you’re on, you can still enter. According to recent research from Giffgaff, the UK is a nation of takeaway lovers, with a fifth of people ordering one at least once a week. They’re also the nation’s favourite little pick-me-up, with 41 per cent citing them as their go-to way to treat themselves, above dining out , buying new clothes or beauty treatments .
