Paris 2024 Olympians will not be banned from private intimacy in a move that will see the previous restriction lifted.

Due to the COVID pandemic, athletes at the tournament in Tokyo in 2021 to abide by rules to help prevent the spread of the virus.They had to limit their physical contact with each other, with social distancing rules requiring them to stay around six feet apart.due to the pandemic meant these couldn't be used but this looks set to change this summer in Paris.

This year's Olympic Village is reported to cost in the region of £1.7billion, the single costliest Olympic project. Athletes will certainly be well fed and refreshed, although they will need to head into the city if they are to celebrate with champagne.
