Three versions of the Xpeng G9 and P7 will be offered locally.The Chinese company plans to have 60 dealers in Germany by 2026.Xpeng is also gearing up to launch in France, Italy, and the UK this year. Chinese electric carmaker Xpeng, backed by Volkswagen, is expanding into its fifth European market after Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark. On Thursday, it announced plans to commence sales in Germany this May, starting with the G9 SUV and P7 sedan.
The mid-range model shares the same motor but is equipped with a larger 98 kWh pack. Xpeng’s G9 AWD Long Range combines the 98 kWh pack with two motors generating 543 hp , enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The P7 sedan, being smaller than the G9, comes with a slightly lower price tag. It will be available in RWD Long Range configuration starting from €49,600 , equipped with an 82.7 kWh pack and 276 hp.
