The Mexican in Fallowfield opened last August but the owner's grandson is calling on customers for their support

He’s only six-years-old but Hugo Bowden has already become a star on social media, after sharing a video of his family’s restaurant.

His mum Alice shared the video on the restaurant’s Instagram channels as well as local Facebook pages, and also explained why the last six months have been so difficult for the new business. In the post she explains how the business has faced a few challenges along the way. “But we really need your support. My dad should be retiring and shouldn’t be working 80 hour weeks. It’s taken its toll doing so for 8 months. It made him so ill he ended up in hospital with heart failure and pneumonia last month.

Followers were quick to support the business with many saying they would be coming down to visit. One wrote: “Incredible food with the cutest host around. Will be back soon to try more for sure.” “Hi my name’s Hugo, this is my pops,” he says before a picture pops up of him posing with his grandad. “My pops is crazy, he bought us this restaurant.Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Hugo’s mum Alice explained that her dad, who is in his 60s didn't have a background in hospitality but was in fact a hairdresser before opening the restaurant.
