The shooting happened in the 2700 block of Brentnell Avenue, located south of Agler Road, at 12:10 a.m.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A cafe in Italian Village was forced to close its doors for a couple of days after a car crashed into the building Monday morning., located at 1031 N 4th St. in Columbus, posted a message to Instagram Tuesday morning letting customers know it would be closed for a second day due to the extent of the damage to the building.

“Unfortunately, the damage done to our building from a vehicular accident is bad enough that our 4th Street location won’t be open today, Tuesday, April 9," the statement read."Working hard to be open for you tomorrow!” Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the cafe Monday just before 8 a.m. on a report of a car in a structure.

An officer at the scene told 10TV that a person driving north on 4th Street appeared to have a medical emergency and left the road. The vehicle ended up traveling through an empty parking lot and hitting another vehicle’s bumper before striking the building where the garage door is located.
