Gold Coast luxury property developer Tim Gordon and his wife Karin have put their equine property Rivermead Estate on the marketing guiding above $20 million.

Known as Rivermead Estate, the 21-hectare retreat owned by prominent developer and Gordon Corp CEOhas joined the prestige market, located in Guanaba – about a 30-minute drive from Mermaid Beach.

Once a dairy farm, the property became the site of the Gold Coast’s first Polo Club in 1974. While the Gordons kept the skin and structure of the original house with wraparound verandahs, the residence was virtually rebuilt, with the Hampton’s style design and fit out helmed by Karin Gordon.Financial ReviewIn 2021, Hollywood A-lister George Clooney selected the property as his home base for five months while filmingand their twin children.

The Gordons have also expanded on the property’s equine facilities, adding a 16-box stable complex and an Olympic size dressage arena.with no prizes for guessing which of his famous ballads was belted out on repeat. “Our interest in horses has grown significantly. Our breeding program has got to another level, but we just don’t have enough room to do what we want to do.”are currently overseeing the construction of a luxury super yacht marina project, Mantaray Marina and Residences. Last month, SydneysidersSlated for completion next year, that project will feature a two-level floating clubhouse.
