At GLAMOUR, we believe that the beauty industry should be an inclusive and welcoming space for all. We can all become better allies by shopping from Black beauty founders and female-owned brands. The British Beauty Council is keen to play its part, too. On April 30, the non-profit organisation – which represents the wider beauty industry and generates conversations about the issues it faces with Government – launched its “A Beauty Industry That Looks Like You” campaign.
It will ensure we have the scope of data we need to propel real change when it comes to access to industry, social mobility, inclusivity and equity.” Here's how you can play your part. Driving the campaign is a survey – The Beauty Census – which is the largest industry survey of its kind. It is open to everyone who loves beauty in the UK, as well as the 500,000 people who make up its workforce.
