The alleged refusal of a betting agent to pay the N60,000 won by a staker sparked the ethnic clash that erupted at the popular Oke Odo Market in Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Vanguard’s investigation has shown.

It was gathered that when he wanted to collect his win from the betting agent, a man from the North, the agent allegedly refused to pay him, saying the winner should be ready to part with some money.
