Three people were released from care and one remained hospitalized Thursday evening, a day after they were injured in an explosion at Superior Signal Company that killed one employee, Old Bridge police said.Superior Signal did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment Thursday evening.

Authorities responded to the company’s facility on West Greystone Road around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday for reports of an explosion. Eileen Marco, 73, of South River was located and pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the prosecutor’s office.
