Business investment, pitch event coming to Sudbury in September

That’s the chosen format of Venture North Pitch 2024, a new business investment event taking place Sept. 19 in Sudbury.

The event “aims not only to attract potential accredited investors but also to inspire companies to explore the boundless opportunities of Northern Ontario,” according to an event synopsis. The day’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Sean Wise, a professor of entrepreneurship at Toronto Metropolitan University and a former advisor on the reality TV show Dragons’ Den.
