Outdoor trading on a Friday at the city’s market is to return for the first time since before the Covid lockdown.Outdoor market trader since 1991, Pete Burns, said; “As a long-term trader at Preston’s Outdoor Market, I couldn’t be happier about the return of Friday trading. It’s not just about the extra day of business, it’s about reconnecting with our loyal customers and strengthening the sense of community that makes Preston Markets so unique.
The trading hours are 8am to 3pm on Fridays, the same as Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Outdoor Market.Cabinet member for resources and deputy leader of Preston City Council, councillor Martyn Rawlinson, said: “We are thrilled to bring back Friday trading to Preston’s Outdoor Market.
