It’s been a good year so far for PlayStation gamers. The PS5 has seen some great console exclusives with the releases of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Stellar Blade, and arguably the most successful game of the year so far, Helldivers 2. While it’s been a strong first half of the year, an industry insider has said a PlayStation May 2024 showcase is planned and that it could possibly happen this week.

During the episode, while debunking a story about some elaborate connection between rapper Kendrick and the rumored showcase, Jeff Grubb said “that PlayStation showcase is happening this month still apparently”.
