Luigi"Gino" Di Santo started the business in 1953, a year after arriving in Australia from the Molise region in central Italy. "We have each enjoyed over four decades in this adventure of Italian wine and food, and are proud to have seen Australia's love of great Italian gastronomy grow so vibrantly.The Herald Sun reported on Tuesday the business had also been experiencing problems importing products into the store, which played a role in the decision.
