MIMINEGASH, P.E.I. — Denyse Boulet says her primary focus is to make people happy. If she can do this through her crocheted items, then she is happy.

Ever since the summer of 2022, Boulet has started selling these creations through her crafting business, Made from the Couch. - Contributed

Overall, though, she likes to try and have a variety of different animals. Sometimes she will change out the type of yarn she uses which will change a creature’s appearance and size entirely. She doesn’t, however, typically do many custom orders. Crocheting, said Boulet, is just a hobby and certainly not a full-time venture. It is, however, something she would love to do full-time. But for now, she works a full-time day job with the provincial government.
