The S&P 500 SPX, +0.07% rose 2.87 points, or 0.1%, to 2,891.08, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.10% advanced 34 points, or 0.1%, to 26,191. The Nasdaq Composite COMP, -0.05% was 0.1% higher at 7,971.
