BC LNG Alliance looks to keep the industry’s voice in the public discussion about LNG development.

LNG Canada has begun to advance construction on its $40-billion liquefied natural gas development in B.C., but the sector’s main lobby group isn’t letting up on its sales pitch for the industry.

“I think we do have a great story to tell and in a lot of ways it’s reframing it,” Cox said. “You hear so many negative things, I think what we hope to do at the alliance is fill that vacuum with real, powerful stories occurring .” And people can expect the B.C. LNG Alliance to keep the industry’s voice in the public-policy discussion around LNG in both rural and urban communities with more of a public campaign.

An Environment and Climate Change Canada report released earlier this month warned that Canada is warming at twice the rate as the rest of the world.
