Police found Sudbury man who was subject of Hwy. 17 traffic complaint at Markstay-Warren business, where he was involved in an altercation

An impaired driver from Sudbury broke windows and assaulted an employee at a business in the Markstay-Warren area, according to provincial police.

The driver of the same vehicle was then reported to be at a local business on Highway 17, where he began to damage the property by breaking windows and then assaulted an employee. It was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The OPP then made a breath demand into an Approved Screening Device , and the driver failed to comply.The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice July 4 in Sudbury.
