Kildare-based IT and telecom company VEI Global has announced 20 new engineering jobs.

The roles will be funded by a combined investment from the company and Enterprise Ireland, amounting to €2 million.

The company's services include Wi-Fi, networks, security, contact centres, circuit connectivity and 5G. Since it was founded in 2010, VEI Global has grown its workforce to 40, while revenues have increased by an average of 22% year-on-year. Co-CEOs Lloyd O’Rourke and Conor Killeen said multi-site, multinational organisations require seamless and streamlined Wi-Fi solutions and must ensure that they are not exposing themselves to increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity attacks.
