LONDON - Private equity firm Warburg Pincus has appointed two new managing directors to bolster its European business, it said on Monday.

Jake Strauss, a managing director with 14 years experience at Warburg Pincus, will lead the company's newly formed European Healthcare investing team, which will be part of its global healthcare effort that is led by TJ Carella. " bring deep sector expertise and broad experience that will add greatly to our existing capabilities,” Andrew Sibbald and René Obermann, co-heads of Europe at Warburg Pincus, said.
