A newly-refurbished 3g training pitch in Monkstown is ready for kick-off following significant investment from Antrim and Newtownabbey Council.
The redevelopment comes at a good time, with the pitch set to host games at this summer's SuperCupNI youth football tournament. He said: "This state-of-the-art pitch offers a fantastic opportunity for local people to engage in sports and physical activities. Later this summer, the facility will be one of five pitches across the Borough to host the SuperCupNI Girls’ Tournament, which will include premier league teams Manchester United, Wolverhampton and Aston Villa.
