The San Antonio City Council has approved a significant rent reduction for tenants of La Villita and Market Square. SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio City Council has approved a significant rent reduction for tenants of La Villita and Market Square.

Both La Villita and Market Square have reported the negative impacts of the construction on their operations. The rent reduction aims to alleviate some of the financial strain they have been experiencing. However, while this is an important step forward, it is just the beginning of the measures needed to ensure the artistic community of La Villita weather this construction and emerge stronger on the other side. We are committed to working closely with city officials and our community to address additional challenges and secure further support.
