The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that injured three people in the parking lot of an outdoor market on Sunday night.

AUSTIN, Texas — Several people were hurt during a shooting on Sunday in southeast Austin. said the shooting happened just before 9 p.m. at an outdoor market on FM 812 near U.S. 183.

Next door to the VFW post is the 812 Market, where over the weekend, three people were shot in the parking lot. According to the sheriff's office, several people who knew each other were involved in an altercation in the parking lot. That's when shots rang out, leaving one person with life-threatening injuries. Two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries. All three were taken to the hospital for treatment.
