Man arrested, another sought after 3 shot at Austin-area market; one victim critically injured, two others with non-life-threatening wounds.

Luis Felipe Saucedo-Rojas, 30, is wanted in connection with a shooting at an outdoor market near Austin, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

One person has been arrested and a warrant has been issued for a second suspect in Sunday night's shooting that left three people injured at an outdoor market south of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Felipe Rodriguez-Saucedo, 55, was arrested on Monday, July 1, and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a 2nd-degree felony, according to an update from the Travis County Sheriff's Office. He is currently in custody at the Travis County Jail.

A warrant has been issued for the second suspected shooter, Luis Felipe Saucedo-Rojas, 30 of Austin, who has not been arrested yet.On Sunday, June 30, 2024, at around 8:51 p.m., deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the parking lot of the 812 Outdoor Market located at 8714 FM812.Anyone with information on Saucedo-Rojas' whereabouts or this incident should contact the TCSO Tip Line at 512-854-1444 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477.
