Discount retailer Bob’s Stores plans to close all of its stores and liquidate all of its inventory.

Bob's Stores, a discount retailer, is shutting down all its locations, including one in New Jersey after the chain filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.

The retail chain, which primarily has locations in the Northeast, filed a Chapter 11 restructuring petition on June 18., the company said that despite making changes to the company’s structure and operations, Bob’s Stores was unable to secure the finances needed to maintain operations. “We regret that our financial position necessitated the liquidation of Bob’s Stores,” Dave Barton, president of Bob’s Stores,. “Bob’s has been a stalwart of our local communities for nearly 70 years, and we know our customers remember us as having been there for major moments in their lives. We remain grateful to our vendors, suppliers, customers and employees for all of their support over the years.

Going out-of-business sales for Bob’s Stores started on June 28. The discounts include 30-70% off regular retail prices across all departments.
