DAERA says the farm in Co Tyrone has a zoo licence

Exotic animal TikTokker Kyle Thomas has gone into business with the co-owner of a Northern Ireland petting farm with a zoo licence, we can reveal. The self-styled personality has previously come under fire about his exotic animal 'influencing' but the zoo's co-owner says Kyle "has definitely seen the error of his ways".

Documents posted on Companies House list both Kyle Scott Thomas and Philip Gerard Hughes as the owners of a new firm, Project Mylo Ltd, which was incorporated on March 6. Philip, who owns Dyan Mill Farm with his wife Marianne, told us "whilst myself and Kyle are in business together, it isn't a business we expect to generate profits and financial gains for ourselves.

"Although Philly and I are definitely different people we're actually very similar. Back in lockdown he bought this abandoned cornmill and turned it into something magical." Entry costs £7 for adults and from £4-£6 for kids. The attraction, set around a tree lined lake, historic buildings and across fields, includes a series of pens where everything from wallabies to farm animals, reindeer, a range of lizards, birds and monkeys were on display. The business also appears to be a popular spot for school visits where children get to interact with the animals.

Kyle has been appealing for "gifted items for animal feeding, enclosures and anything which is useful for animal keeping" as well as a website designer to make a logo and website for the new project "in return for online advertising" on Facebook. The spokesperson added: "In relation to Welfare concerns with the capybara, investigations have concluded. The department is satisfied that in relation to their area of responsibility there were no welfare concerns at the time of the investigation."
