DPM Heng highlighted that Singapore had outperformed many comparable nations over the past seven years!

SINGAPORE: Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat revealed that one of the four broad economic directions Singapore will focus on in the coming years is strengthening the country as a base for global companies looking to expand in Asia.

These sectors collectively account for nearly 80 per cent of the country’s economy. The report also outlines future directions to sustain and enhance economic performance. He also noted that the median income for full-time Singapore residents has risen by 1.5 per cent per year from 2016 to 2023.
