The government has the potential to unleash several economic opportunities

President Cyril Ramaphosa says he is confident that the government has the potential to unleash several economic opportunities including job creation to ensure a better life for all., has the necessary skills and resources to eradicate the many social ills the majority of people in this country are facing.

Ramaphosa began his response to the presidential budget vote debate, saying that the country and its government have the potential to create economic growth and employment opportunities. The President has responded to some of the criticism that the work of government has now been centralised within his office.

“It is correct and proper that parliament through its relevant structures should give this matter consideration and determine the most appropriate way to fulfil its constitutional responsibility. The presidency like all the executive is committed to honour its accountability to parliament.
