Sheth explained crooks even broke in during March 2023 and got away with customers' vehicles, setting businesses back tens of thousands of dollars.“I only have until Sept. 29. If I don’t have my insurance renewal, my landlord will kick me out, I will be defaulting on my lease, I will be defaulting on my loan,” Sheth explained.

“This is a very real threat to our businesses, especially our smaller businesses,” Johnson explained. “They have just started paying out of their pocket for fear that they’ll be dropped or because their policy’s already gone up so high.”
