SINGAPORE: A 26-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly cheating an online retail company of more than S$52,000.

He was arrested on July 31 after officers from the Woodlands Police Division were able to establish his identity through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras. The man is due to be charged on Aug 2 for cheating. If convicted, he can be jailed for up to 10 years and fined. The police reminded the public that it is a serious offence to defraud retailers and they will not hesitate to take action against those who disregard the law. - The Straits Times/ANNAt least 100,000 Singaporean vehicles expected to apply for VEP, says Loke‘I don’t care about the big power rivalries,’ Timor-Leste leader Ramos-Horta says
