The popular artiste, who got his start in the industry in the late 1970s with the group Carefree, died at a hospital in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya on Sunday night. He was 67.In the Instagram post, Fahmi shared that he received the sad news while attending the Free Palestine gathering in Bukit Jalil."His passing is a significant loss to the local music industry.
