Five men are facing charges after stealing a large amount of copper wire from a Clarington business. Officers were called to an industrial area south of High

Officers were called to an industrial area south of Highway 401 in Bowmanville around 2:40 a.m. Thursday where the five were loading the wire into a U-Haul van.When they opened up the back of the van, they found several hundred pounds of copper wire.Richard Kiss, age 20 from Aurora is charged with: Theft Over $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Mischief Over $5000, Break-and-Enter, and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

Jozsef Babos, age 37 from Ajax is charged with: Theft Over $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Mischief Over $5000, and Break-and-Enter. Norbert Kis, age 37 from Hamilton is charged with: Theft Over $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Mischief Over $5000, Possess Break-In Instruments, and Break-and-Enter.Csaba Lakatos, age 27 from Ajax is charged with: Theft Over $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Mischief Over $5000, and Break-and-Enter.Anyone who has cell phone, dashcam, surveillance footage or information about this incident is asked to contact Cst.
